Rental Agreement & Terms
These terms apply to every RoboBuddy rental. By booking, you agree to them.

1. What you're renting
One RoboBuddy “Go 2 Pro” robot dog, together with its charger and any accessories we hand over at delivery (the Robot). The Robot remains our property at all times. You are renting it, not buying it, and you may not sell, sub-let, lend or give it to anyone else.
2. Rental period
Each rental week runs from the Saturday we deliver to the Friday we collect — 6 days. Longer rentals run in whole weeks and always end on a Friday. Delivery and collection times are agreed with you in advance and are within Abu Dhabi only.
3. Price and payment
The rental fee is AED 499 per week. Payment is made by bank transfer before delivery; we send the account details after you reserve. Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received. Dates are held for you for a limited period while we await payment, after which they may be released to someone else.
4. Looking after the Robot
- An adult must supervise all use by children.
- Keep the Robot away from water — no pools, beaches, baths or rain. It is not waterproof.
- Use it on sensible surfaces and avoid stairs, drops and traffic.
- Do not modify, dismantle, repair or re-program the Robot.
- Charge it only with the charger we provide.
- Keep it indoors and secure when it is not being used.
5. Damage, loss and theft
Normal wear and tear is on us. If the Robot is returned damaged through misuse, neglect or an accident while in your care, you agree to pay a damage charge of at least AED 500, or the actual cost of repair if that is higher. If the Robot is lost, stolen or damaged beyond economical repair, you agree to pay its replacement value of AED 12,000. We will always show you the repair quote or evidence before charging you.
6. Cancellations and changes
Cancel or change your dates free of charge up to 48 hours before your delivery Saturday and we will refund you in full. After that, or if nobody is there to receive the delivery, the rental fee is non-refundable. If we ever have to cancel on you — a fault, an accident, anything on our side — you get a full refund.
7. Safety and liability
The Robot is a powered machine, not a toy. You are responsible for using it safely and supervising those who do. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you will not exceed the rental fee you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
